Here is a tip.As I am in web application and software field I would recommend.always try to develop something of your own. With respect to the job requirements. And bring it in your pendrive. It will really help us to figure out your talent and also give an impression that you have put your efforts regarding the technology.

Manish AdvaniI would like to offer my 2 cents worth of advise In addition to helping them get their first job if you could guide them in going for the right job it will help them in the long run at times due to immaturity youngsters go for the first opportunity which comes their way not realizing they are getting in to something which they dont love to do.

Gautam RoyFreshers should bridge the gap between academic and professional world. They should get hands on with real world projects, learn latest tech apart from what was taught in college. Internships are best way to do it however one can achieve that in his/her own capacity as well. Finally, if not the last, they should prepare themselves well for interviews and be ready to face any challenges.

Yuvraghi SharmaFreshers need to have industry exposure by having internships or training so that atleast they have some basic knowledge how to relate things what they have studied or are studying

Nishad PrabhuRelevant experience can always be gained over time. Many freshers lack  good communication skills and professional etiquettes, something that is essential across industries.

Here are some things you can do:
1. Provide a good Soft-Skills Training
2. Train in niche Technological Skills3. Help them with the Interview Preparation4. Put their profile in the right forum and give them on-job support.
Any industry today, whether it is catering to B2B or B2C is looking for support, not just service, so figure out how you can do that.

They should 1.find out what domain they would be comfortable in, what are their strengths and weaknesseses
2.they should have in depth subject knowledge of that particular domain 3.please dig into some basic current affairs about your selected field so that when you talk to recruiter they know that you don't sound like an alien 4. Trust me nothing works better than rehearsing in front of mirrors, ask yourself all possible questions (technical and behavioral) and answer with confidence 5.confidence comes with practice and practice makes one perfect 6.be honest, don boast about self too much, remember person sitting in front of you must have seen 5000 like you so project your inner self only.
Freshers interview is always easier as recruiter expect only what have you studied and how confident you sound..keep searching for jobs everyday

Yashveer GurjarThey must at least be good enough in the field in which they graduated. For eg:If a person did Engineering in CS,then he must be very good in coding and should master at least one language in which he is proficient or has interest. He should also work on his communication skills to crack interviews. As a corporate  person, what I have experienced is that you should be good in whatever you do,people respect your knowledge and capabilities.

Vish KushwahaBy the time one reaches his/her final semester, he/she already has some idea about what they want to do after their degree. So what one can do is start working on practical aspects. Try to know what's going on presently in the field which you want to head. One important suggestion i want to give is don't settle for any job, try to get a job that is concerned with your core.
